Dr. Brandon Lester
Doctor of chiropractic
Dr. Brandon Lester, a proud Port Orchard native, that has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimal health and wellness through a combination of traditional chiropractic care and innovative treatment practices.
Dr. Lester’s journey to chiropractic excellence began during his high school years in the Athletic Medicine program at South Kitsap High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University. His passion for sports medicine led him to the University of Western States, where he completed a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine, as well as his Doctorate of Chiropractic. In 2018, he earned certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician by the ABCSP.
Dr. Lester is committed to enhancing patient care through the integration of new and updated treatment practices. His approach combines movement therapy, exercise, myofascial release, and traditional chiropractic methods to provide comprehensive relief. “My intent is to provide people relief from their pain. Whether that happens through standard chiropractic adjustments, other manual therapies, or referrals to specialized providers, my focus is on the patient’s progress and well-being.”
Dr. Lester’s extensive educational background makes him particularly adept at treating amateur and professional athletes, young adults, weekend warriors, and anyone seeking to improve their mobility and overall function.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Lester enjoys spending time with his high school sweetheart, Jessica, and their adorable baby girl, Braelynn. His commitment to family and community reflects his caring approach to patient care.
Jess Lester
Co-owner/ Office Manager
Jess Lester is a dynamic force behind the scenes and occasionally at the front desk, where she enjoys working alongside her husband, Dr. Brandon Lester. With a diverse background in customer service, banking, and education, Jess brings a wealth of experience to her role as Office Manager.Before embarking on this new venture with Dr. Lester, Jess worked at South Kitsap School District. Her extensive experience in customer service and banking has made her adept at managing office operations and providing exceptional support to our patients.Jess plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. She’s known for her warm and personable approach, making every patient feel valued and cared for. Her friendly interactions often turn into lasting relationships, with many patients becoming like family. Jess is a familiar face in the office on Wednesdays and Fridays, frequently accompanied by her adorable sidekick, Braelynn. If you’re in the office, you might notice Dr. Lester and Jess’ playful dynamic. They often poke fun at each other and share light-hearted jokes, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere that adds to the positive vibe of our office.
Outside of work, Jess loves spending time with her family, exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Whether it’s camping, fishing, or hiking, she enjoys all that nature has to offer. She’s also passionate about shopping and finding the best deals, adding a touch of excitement to her leisure time.
Kelsey Johnson
Licensed Massage Therapist
Kelsey Johnson has six years of medical massage experience focusing on musculoskeletal injuries caused by repetitive stress, motor vehicle accidents, and previous surgeries. Her main goal in any patient's therapeutic journey is to help them heal well to prevent vulnerability in the area and get them back to the activities that bring them joy! To do this she applies Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point therapies, and Sports Massage techniques as dictated by the patient's needs. She educates her patients on movement and healing, so they feel empowered (and relaxed) when leaving her office.
Michelle Nelson
Insurance Billing Specialist
With nearly 20 years in the chiropractic field, Michelle brings a diverse and extensive background to her role as our insurance biller at Sound Sport & Spine. Her journey has encompassed roles from receptionist to office manager and insurance billing, making her a cornerstone of our team.
Although Michelle works primarily behind the scenes, her contributions are invaluable. She ensures smooth operations with her deep knowledge and meticulous attention to detail. Her kind spirit and team-player attitude make her a cherished member of our staff. Her expertise in billing ensures that everything runs efficiently and effectively.
When Michelle isn't working, you can find her indulging her passions for gardening, cooking, and spending quality time with her family. Known as our resident “plant whisperer,” she keeps our office greenery thriving, thanks to her green thumb and nurturing touch. We are grateful for Michelle’s dedication, cheerful demeanor, and unwavering commitment. Her ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with a smile and 100% effort is truly remarkable.
Ashley Seaton
Front Desk
Ashley shines as our office superstar on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. With her extensive customer service skills and a warm, welcoming personality, she’s a fantastic addition to our team at Sound Sport & Spine.
Ashley plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional care for our patients. Whether she’s scheduling appointments, answering insurance questions, or assisting with any other needs, her dedication and expertise are evident. Her friendly and approachable nature makes her a joy to interact with, and she takes pride in getting to know each patient personally. Her ability to connect with people and handle various tasks with efficiency and care is truly valuable.
Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys quality time with her lovely family and her sweet daughter. Her balance of professionalism and warmth reflects in both her work and personal life.
